Alpamayo
As confirmed yesterday in my twitter message, I reached the summit of Alpamayo earlier this week. The climb however was not a walk in the park. It all started pretty good though. Saturday, we took a bus to Cashapampa where we were awaited by a donkey driver that was going to take most of our equipment to basecamp. Alpamayo
Some things can be on your bucket list for a long time. As you can imigane, there are quite a few mountains on my bucket list. Some of them are 8000-ers, but there are also other mountains on that list. Alpamayo was one of them. Alpamayo is just below 6000 meters and is located in the Cordillera Blanca in Peru.
